- I have over twenty years’ experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Senior Community Psychiatric Nurse and Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner. I have full current clinical nurse (NMC) registration and a master’s degree in Public Health (MPH). I conducted empirical research on professionals’ experiences of psychiatric assessment clinics across community treatment teams (CTTs) in North East England.
- Latest medical writing projects include the development of two promotional articles on the use of Cariprazine for the treatment of Schizophrenia.
- I am also co-producing four Focussed Psychological Skills (FPS) training courses in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) – for Australian GPs – using the Absorb online LMS platform. These are now accredited by the Royal Australian College of GPs (RACGP).
